CHEB I SABBAH is the original devotional dj, and the father of global electronica sound. A mover of crowds, and in particular the heart, playing huge halls from London to Bombay, with the likes of artists like Jay Z, he comes to Kali Klub hosted at this spacious magical place (Out of ASia)in Culver City on MAY 8.

Cheb i Sabbah, has been called the titan of transglobal, outernational, electronica sound. Born in North Africa, Cheb I has been blending East and West since the 60’s when he played American soul records in Paris. Having lived in America for the past 30 years, he pioneered the world music scene and earned a very dedicated following by weaving devotional Indian with sounds from around the world. Asked about his greatest musical discovery, he says, “being able to spin worldwide and the willingness of the dance floor to discover and share the magic.”
